Samantha
I've known Sam since Grade 8 after we both realized we share the same twisted sense of humour and an intense love of furry, squishy animals. There is always an adventure to be had when we are together, from rescuing seagulls, road trips to the states, to getting her car towed in the middle of downtown Vancouver (in 4 inch heels and no choice but to walk) and even being locked in the trunk of a car to avoid extra ferry fares. She has been there for me through the most important parts of my life, and was the first one I called after Blake proposed, and that's why there was no question that she would be my Maid of Honor to stand up next to me on Blake's and my big day.
Sabrina
I've known Sabrina for 5 years. She used to work at the video store up the road from my house in White Rock, and we met through a mutual friend, and later on became co workers, working both as Cashier Supervisors and Postal clerks at Shoppers Drug Mart. We have both moved on to greener pastures, but have remained in contact and have shared many good times, including concerts, margarita nights, and of course, mocking our past customers! Sabrina is a free spirit and always takes on a positive attitude, always up for anything making her a tonne of fun to be around, and proving why our friendship has stayed strong!
Taylor
I met Taylor in 2008 on my first day attending Blanche Macdonald for makeup. She was the first friendly face in the crowd, and I remember our eyes locking in horror after our instructor told us "alright, well now that we are all her,e line up and wash off your makeup" WHAT!!!! We became good friends after our mutual horror at showing off our naked faces to complete strangers, and buddied up on everything we could in school that needed a team, creating some of the best characters our young artistic minds could dream up. After we graduated, we kept in touch, having crazy car dance parties, bachelorette marathons, and that one time we got day drunk and played Mario Party all day. Taylor has a kind soul and I like to think that she is one of the reasons why Blake and I are even together, as she was the one to push me to give meeting Blake a try on that dreaded blind date.
Travis
Okay, so he's not a girl, but he's so awesome, I broke the rules!
At the time I met Travis, he was the new kid at Sam's work. The first time I met him, Travis walked out of his house to Sam and I doubled over in a fit of laughter on his front lawn. Patiently, he waited until our laughter died down (like 10 minutes later) and just looked at us in disbelief. After that, it was the three of us getting into trouble wherever we went. Travis is the type of friend you want to have by your side; he is quick thinking, fun, and always dependable, albeit a bit of a speed demon on the roads.
